You can overhaul a team overnight. First, just snap up the OL guys out there with a year left. A big, mature, experienced OL can turn things around quick. No superstars needed, just the best guys from bad teams or bad conferences.

Then get a QB. Ole Miss got theirs from D2. He was just sitting there being ignored.

We have changed assistants over and over . Dabo is the problem and unless he hires the right ones and gets out of the way it won’t change . Things like playing Turner over Smith , should upset any true Clemson fan . This staff full of friends and family he has assembled is the worst in the ACC and the whole nation.

What makes you think Clemson can compete with Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, etc. in sustainable NIL money?

We’re currently 9th in NIL, but do we really need to buy a full team like OSU or A&M? A competent staff capable of roster management and player development should be able to still put a competitive team on the field with a handful of high profile players and the rest brought in and developed.
