I have seen here at Clemson. Players improved all year, and if Hall would not have been hurting last night, he would have led the team to a 5 to 8 pt. victory, and then...Go Tigers, hope you get the deserved invite to the NIT, and really looking forward to next year.

Nobody quit on the "team". Do we like our players? YES. Do we like CBB? Not particularly. We like the mantra "Best is the Standard" more than those who settle for the mediocrity we continue to see over the last decade.

sucking. But in all seriousness, nobody says they quit. They just weren’t good enough to beat mediocre teams most of the year. It was great to see them string a few wins together against the bottom of the barrel ACC this year.
But alas, it wouldn’t be a Clemson loss without a Cobbox meltdown.

Totally agree. The team brought a lot of fight this year, but there were at least 3 games we lost in the final minute due to poor calls by Brownell.

Statements like those are for losers. Winners don't have to make excuses by talking about "if" statements. It's been that way for the most part for our basketball program for decades.

which a guy did an amazing analysis... and some crappy little football team, say Stony Brook could theoretically claim to be the best team in the country. You know, they upset Miami OH, who upset Illinois, who upset Michigan St, who upset Ohio St... blah blah blah... who ended up in a bowl beating the only team who handed the eventual 12-1 nat'l champ their only loss. (I just picked some teams at random for an example).
Yeah... the "IF" thing dog won't hunt. If I'd married a billionaire, I would be sitting here typing on TigerNet. And LOL at the "if team A beats B, B beats C, C beats D, etc" then team A is better than team Z. That's just not how it works...
The body of work of your team, is what it is. There are no "ifs". I guarantee you this, we'd laugh at anybody claiming "if this, if that" or "we were just one play away" or "if not for that bad call by the ref"... Clemson wouldn't be football nat'l champs in 2016/2018.

If results don’t matter, why give out scholarships at all? I’m sure 5 Walk-ons would fight just as hard. We could also direct more money to football…
