amnesty for the undocumented Democrats hurts poor blacks

it will drive down wages for blacks and further increase unemployment for young males.
Democrats nearly unanimously favor amnesty and blacks vote 90% for them.
Can the lunge brain trust explain this?

So basically what is going to happen is illegal immigrants flood the nation, they get $15 dollar wages and then the black people cannot eat since burgers will be $8 a piece or work due to illegals taking all the jobs that they do not want.
Thanks Obama!!!

I'm not worried about doubling wages increasing McDonalds

prices. For one, I don't eat at McDonalds. More importantly, I would be shocked if McDonalds (or fast food places in general) would absorb the fall in demand that would result from the price increases that would be necessary to maintain their profit levels. But if you want to make a buck and you think this "minimum wage t $15/hour" thing has a chance, I'd recommend you look for companies that are going to take people out of the equation when it comes to service.
More automation in the kitchen. More pre-processing of the food. More outsourcing of services like drive-through order taking to India (or hey, just have the customers type in at a keypad). To build on the last point, why not just order at a keypad and pay there? Like the ATM...who talks to a Tellar? Or self-check-out at grocery stores. I guarantee it will happen in McDonalds. And people won't care, because most of the time in fast food places the employee isn't a valuable component of the transaction (Chick-Fil-A being the exception in my experience). And for America, more minimally skilled citizens on the government payroll and less entry-level jobs where young Americans can develop skills. Fast food workers are holding up signs that read "We are worth more", but if they get their $15/hour, there is a very real possibility that McDonalds and their customers will send a message back: No you are not. Not to them, anyway.
But to answer your direct question, no idea. I have no idea what cost structure McDonalds uses in Australia vs the United States, or what other costs are contained here vs there.

I think the point of giving migrant laborors work visas is so that they are not taken advantage of and can report employers that are paying less than minimum wage without fear of deportation. But go ahead blame the illegals for their employers who are violating labor laws in this country by paying less than the minimum wage to illegals immigrants.
Oh, and once again the compassion for poor black people is moving.

the amnesty, legalization, work visas, whatever code word you choose - would negatively impact the poor, unskilled, uneducated Americans?

no, a poor american citizen with a HS education will always get the minimum wage job over an immigrant that can barely speak the language.

to pick watermelons or dig ditches.
Black unemployment is over 10% and young male black unemployment approaches 50%. allowing more unskilled immigrants won't help those numbers
