Being a Clemson homer is a good thing, and does not

necessarily mean all sunshine/no substance. Nobody can be passionate about Clemson and remain totally objective however, and I think most of us have already made the choice between those two and don't try to pretend. I don't see why anybody who is passionate about Clemson wouldn't understand that.

FSU: Best team in ten years....

That's a very bold statement by Mickey, but it could be true. Looking at FSU, they don't have a single position group where they are not very good. And, the most important position, QB, is where the best player in college football resides. It's tough to compare FSU to those BAMA teams or even Tebow's Gators, but they definitely stack up. It's hard to make a great evaluation playing in the ACC, where their only legit game of the year was against us. Granted, it didn't seem legit once the game started. They're on another level and I believe Auburn is about to realize that as well.

For 4 years USC has either won the SEC East or beaten the winner of the SEC east. We have lost 4 in a row to USC but does anyone think we would have won the SEC east? My point is that if USC stays where it is in talent and coaching, we have to be good enough to win the SEC East to beat USC. If FSU stays where it is in talent and coaching we will have to be good enough to be in the NC game to beat them. We are better than we have been since DF left the program and we are getting better. I like what Dabo and our coaches are doing. I feel the pain of losing badly to FSU and losing to USC but we are getting better. We did not lose a game we should not have lost. If we had not turned the ball over we might have had a chance in both of those games.

Surprised Mickey buys into the turnover excuse....

Personally, I can't stand it. I hate it when teams use the turnover excuse when we win and I hate it when our fans use it when we lose. Good teams don't turn the ball over and they force turnovers. Bad teams don't take care of the ball and they don't force turnovers. It's part of the game and shouldn't be allowed as an excuse. It's pathetic when it is. South Carolina beat Clemson in all phases of the game, turnovers included.
