FSU will not be able to stop our Offense

Sep 17, 2012, 9:23 AM

Tajh will perform better in the big time atmosphere than EJ. I think this game will depend on if FSU can run the ball, or not. Remember, they have put video game numbers on people, but look who they have played. I am not 100% predicting a win by any means, but we are more capable of winning this ball game down there than people might think.

Our offense is just ridiculous...period. I have never had so much confidence when our offense is on the field. I remember the days when it was third down, and I just couldn't watch because I dreaded the ole' bubble screen. Now, I watch on my feet excited for them to snap the ball because I just know we are getting the first, and you see that they know they can get the first.

I am telling you right now, the tigers are going to be just fine. We might very well lose, but it will be competitive, and the Tigers are NO QUESTION good, if not better then the Seminoles. I havent quite bought into FSU yet. We will see this weekend in Doak. I am just glad I will be there and do my part to yell, kick and scream them to victory.

Let's Go Tigers!! You got this.

Depends on our OL vs their DL, they're by far the strongest front we'll have faced this year.

I definitely agree with you. Good thing Tajh has that quick

And we are the only offense their D has faced!!! period.

Very True

it's a test for both units. I don't know that we can win the battle in the trenches outright at first, but if we can hold their line off long enough to expose some holes in their secondary, and then have their whole team gassed in the second half, we'll have a good shot at taking them down.

I disagree. I think the can stop us. Question is will our D stop them as much as thier D stops us?***

Same D as last year. How did that work for them?***

Too soon to say IMO - our offensive line hasn't been....

Sep 17, 2012, 9:49 AM

tested yet like they will be against FSU.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Auburn was a good tune up to that

Sep 17, 2012, 9:50 AM

But yes FSU has the best front 4 we'll see all year.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Auburn had good DEs, terrible DTs***

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree with that but it's FSU's DEs that worry people

Sep 17, 2012, 10:44 AM

not so much the DT. I trust Beasly and Shatley to hold their own in the middle. It's those big fast physical pass rushers that worry me. Timothy is still a bit slow off the LOS. And while I trust Thomas to hold down the LT spot I wonder if we shouldn't have Anthony start at RT. He's a better pass blocker, though Timothy is by far the better run blocker.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

RT is more of a run-blocking position

Sep 17, 2012, 2:46 PM

and Timothy will be lined up against Werner, who is a run-stopping specialist and doesn't get a lot of sacks.

you have that totally backwards. he is a sack specialist and while he is good against the run he's much better at pressuring the qb. he is leading the country so far this year with 6 sacks.

Right. And he will be across from BT, too.
