If they defeat Georgia with a strong effort & either TX/Bama win the CFP with sloppy performances, I think the AP Poll voters might strongly consider naming the Noles as their champs (they're not bound to vote the CFP champ #1 in final poll like the Coaches Poll). Like what happened after 2003 season when USC got snubbed by the BCS

The AP is full of sports writers who sleep with the SEC’s jock strap. I doubt most of the voters even remotely care this has happened.

It will not be “fake”.

They beat LSU, UGA, Louisville, Clemson, and everyone else on the schedule.

They will claim a share of the 2023 national championship with a win over UGA.

Well, I support that suggestion whole-heartedly IF FSU ACTUALLY BEATS #7 UGA IN THE ORANGE BOWL! And I will cheer them on to do just that!

However, they still have to accomplish that last win against UGA. That will be very hard to do without Travis Jordan at QB. I believe it is still possible with their #2 QB, but not with their #3 QB. And even if their #2 QB returns, if I was actually putting money on the game, I would be putting my money on UGA.

In any case, I will be cheering FSU on in the Orange Bowl. If they win, they should put up their National Champion sign! If they lose, they should forget their complaints about the 2023 CFP process, and fully welcome the move to a 12-team CFP in 2024 where all Power Five (or rather, "Power Four") championship teams will be in the CFP. Then, a FSU ACC Champion (or any other ACC Champion) won't be snubbed in a woefully flawed 4-team CFP!
