the ACC during his interview with Jack Arute from the other day. He was basically saying anything and everything was on the table as far as conference affiliation was concerned and spoke of the ACC like it was a vendor, not a partnership. Though this year's deadline has passed, the game is still afoot and will be until the league addresses the handicap that it's handed its football programs beginning in 2013.

as I recall, he was merely stating what he heard and didn't say that it was absolutely going to happen. If I'm wrong, I stand corrected.

Clemson and FSU going to the Big 12 before August 15th. Please take some time to peruse his post history.
Fact is, he did exactly that, and york was wrong. Plus he called a lot of people out in the process while trying to pretend he was above all that.. and that he would be "vindicated". Oops.
Regardless, he logs on pretty much everyday. In my opinion, what he should do is 'man up' .. instead of trying to hide. That would be the respectful, manly thing to do.

FSU is that girl in high school.............

who picks the hot guy at the moment. This program, under Bobby Bowden, from 92 to 2000 won every ACCC and 2 MNC. They were unbelievable. They were truly amazing. Few compared to them. The ACC deeply handicaps that program financially. They need the cash. The will leave if invited and who can blame them. The ACC offers FSU nothing but fewer dollar and losses to teams in football nobody respects. I wish this were not true. I love my Tigers but FSU will leave. When not if.

Their donator $$$ have dried up because of their lack of winning , not their conference affiliation.

might need a little more attention though. FSU is committed through the 2013 season, as is everyone at this point. I think Swofford's comments came after the playoff and OB deal were announced. From Spetman's interview, the OB deal sounded like the clincher for the short term (he stressed having a major bowl tie-in for the league as a must), giving the benefit of the doubt over to the league for now. The conference environment issue hasn't been settled, but it has subsided for now while the new season is upon us. I believe that all of the league's members would prefer to remain in a stronger ACC. Whether the league can take those steps forward to make it so is still in question.

camp tour. I heard it this morning but it was a rebroadcast of one of their shows from earlier this week. He didn't blatantly say that they were considering the options, but it was clear in his statements concerning the current conference and future expansion that some significant shifting was likely to continue and that FSU could be a participant. The Orange Bowl deal sounded like the one move that may have prevented it from happening this year. He praised the Big East for hiring a commissioner that's going to get them a sweet media deal.

If the SEC gets a dynamite TV deal plus establishes a

SEC network, FSU will do something. What that will be, I do not know. Their rivalry with Florida is as vicious as any in the nation, including ours with So Car. I know for a fact that the hatred extends all the way between the academic personnel of both schools. FSU will not stand by and see Florida get a disproportionate advantage through TV money. They just won't. Whether this has any impact on Clemsom, I honestly don't know. Dabo was very emphatic that he does not want to leave the ACC, saying it would be a "huge mistake to leave the ACC, Clemson is the ACC , blah, blah, blah". If we have a big year on the football field (something I predict we will, going 11-1), Dabo will be very influential regarding what Clemson does and does not do.
I hope this does not come up. It was nauseating keeping up with it several months ago. Got to wish that the SEC has bad luck in their TV renegotiations.
