Pretty clear no matter how much more the media uncovers the NCAA is going to ignore this. They got a slap on the wrists for this at best

numerous "no show" classes where the only real required work was a "paper at the end" that was never actually read or graded by an instructor, and more than 500 unauthorized grade changes, with half of them involving athletes and UNCheat skates without so much as a slap on the wrist.

Isn't this the WORST thing an academic institution can possibly do for athletes?

Creating easy classes, changing grades, plagarism, tudors doing the work, athletic support staff schmoozing department heads...All of this being done to stay on the playing field.

And the only thing that happened - they missed one bowl game. They still have that trophy in their trophy case - in the year they were on probation.

but the ACC certainly didn't object to UNC putting up a banner in recognition of its 2012 Coastal Division Championship or to the UNC players getting Coastal Division Championship rings.

It's pretty clear schools can buy their way out of any violation if they pay the Infractions Committee enough money. There is just no other way to explain the gross inconsistency with which the NCAA enforces its own rules.

UNC payed for all that stuff themselves unlike GT's conference championship trophy awarded by the conference. No conference really goes around and monitors what schools put up on billboards or buy for players.
