Tell me you never lived in johnstone without saying I never lived in johnstone

Those places were the pinnacle of luxury back then. Today’s students are spoiled.

Now get off my lawn!

From the tenth floor of Byrnes it looked like they were building with Legos across the street. It was almost 40 years later when I set foot inside the first time. They were tiny, and the layout was odd, but it sure was nice for my daughter & her roomies to have that kitchen and den area when they started Clemson in 2020 when most of the world was in lockdown.

It was pretty darn nice comparatively speaking.

I remember bed rooms seemed small but kitchen and common area made up for it. 1st floor was pretty cool too.

Thanks for the memory, haven’t thought about it in many years.

Go Tigers!

Should be torn down, along with Thornehill Village.

Lived there around '84 when they were new. S4, I think. One of the best spots on campus at that time.

Had Keg parties in the court yard most football Saturdays.

I had a great time at Calhoun Courts --- played a ton of basketball outside the apartment.

I still have a letter somewhere inviting me to move to Calhoun Courts because my GPA was finally north of 3.0. Unfortunately, it was my Sr. year and I was not interested in starting over in a new place. It made sense at the time.

Courts made us feel like George Jefferson! I met my future wife in Calhoun Courts; she lived above us. Pretty much every football game we threw a kegger...very fond memories!

I lived in Thornhill Village for a year and would walk by Calhoun Courts to back and forth to campus. At that time it was new and considered high living.

It's probably a dump now.
