For those people that went to the game,

Jan 6, 2014, 1:07 PM

was the stadium pretty full? Was it a pretty even split of fans?

Whenever they showed a shot of the stands on TV it looked like a good turn out

Whatever you do, always give 100%.....unless it's donating blood

I'd go 60-65% OSU fans

Jan 6, 2014, 1:11 PM

and 80-85% capacity. The orange seats made it look like more Clemson fans that there actually were.

Re: I'd go 60-65% OSU fans

I would agree with that. It is harder to tell these days with people buying tickets from Stubhub. You don't have a much block seating.

Add in the FSU fans, Hurricane fans, and other locals in...

attendance, there were more people at the game cheering for Clemson.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It was a very good turnout......

other than one particular corner in the upppr deck, that was probably about 50% filled, the remainder of the stadium had very few seats available.

That said, I thought the Ohio State contingency out-numbers the Clemson crowd probably something in the 60/40 range.

There were definitely more Ohio State fans in attendance.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Not a great turnout, but that's understandable due too...

lots of fans being priced out of bowl games. An unfortunate reality. Even the NFL is struggling to sell out playoff games. There were more OSU fans than I thought there would be. I stayed on South Beach and you hardly saw any OSU fans, but they were a ton of Clemson fans. As it turns out, there were more OSU fans than I thought, mainly because 18% of OSU alumnus live in Florida.

Another thing, Ohio State fans started leaving with 9 minutes left in the 4th Qtr. Along with that, there were FSU and Hurricane fans that were there who were actively cheering for us to win the game. All the locals and tourists were telling Clemson fans they were pulling for us to win the game. That speaks volumes on how classy and nice our fans are.

Yes, pretty full and they may have had a few more than we did. The OSU fans know how to act, unlike some unnamed school from our own state. They showed a lot of class.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Uh, there were some pretty classless OSU fans there….

Jan 6, 2014, 1:31 PM

not saying all of them were that way, but there was enough classless OSU fans to qualify their fan base as well below classy.

I would agree that the overall capacity was probably around 80% but from my point of view it seemed to be about 2/3 Ohio State fans. The Ohio State sideline looked to be 90 - 95% Ohio State and the Clemson sideline looked almost split 50/50.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think it was more like 75% OSU

Jan 6, 2014, 1:34 PM

The OSU side was solid Scarlett while the Clemson side had OSU pockets and also a bunch of other colors. I saw a large group of "Brazil Futsal" people in the upper deck and there were of course local Miami fans or dolphin fans that decided to go.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree, I thought about 75% Ohio State

Jan 6, 2014, 1:52 PM

I was on Clemson side in club level, seemed about 50/50 there. The OSU fans around me were very classy. Obviously not happy after game, however.
