If UGA, Ohio State, TCU, and Clem win out
That is the four playoff teams. Contingent on UNC being 11-1 in ACCCG, of course.
Look at the history of the committee. USC and TCU could swap if TCU drops a game and USC wins out. Of course same with Mich-Ohio State.

Do you really want to see us get our a$$ beat by UGA? Bc that’s what’s going to happen if we meet them in the playoffs. They will be ND with better athletes. Bottle up Ship and make 5 beat you through the air. Is there any question in anyone’s mind by now how that will go?

Simply stating what is most like based on precedent.
Of course I could be wrong. Ton football to be played and chaos to ensue. But UNC and Clem appear on a collision course for 4th playoff spot.

What? You give Dabo and his staff time to get ready for you and UGA just might get run over ?

I still don't look at this Clemson team and think "Yeah, that's one of the best teams in the country." Too many on here put too much stock into the win/loss record. We're a good team full of talent but we are not playoff good offensively, not even close to it and haven't been in 2 years. I'm not saying that we should not wish to go to the playoffs because that's a dumb thought process in itself. People just need to recognize this team has a A LOT of work to do and stop gaslighting themselves into thinking we are an incredible team that belongs on the field with UGA in a natty shot.

I’ve watched a number of teams better than Clemson this year. UNC being one of them. The talent is there so maybe they can get it going in this last month of regular season play. I’ll sure be at all the remaining games if I can stay upright!!!!!

UNC has a great offense but their defense is atrocious. As they say, "defense wins championships" so if ours shows up, I think we will be OK.

It'd still take a lot of chaos in front of us to happen and I still don't think the committee would put us in over an 11-1 Tennessee, 12-1 TCU, etc. just based on eye test of the whole season alone. Unless we come out and absolutely hammer UNC into oblivion and show we aren't afraid to put up passing yards with our run game, I just don't see us giving much argument to jump those teams ahead of us for that 4th spot.

Watch where they slot us this week and look who is still in front of us and that will tell you all you need to know about how they are thinking.

The difference has ALWAYS been conference championship week.
The committee rewards conference champions. Period. They have been forthright about that since day 1.
We will move ahead of teams who did not play that weekend. Guaranteed. A ton of chaos could ensue to muddy the water as to the order of teams ahead of us, but most every prognostication has us at a 75% chance or better to make the playoff if we win out. Simply based on how the committee has always operated.
