Gosh, H.Renfrow is certainly a great receiver (both during his time at Clemson and in the NFL), but it's a bit of a stretch to call him the greatest receiver in Clemson's history.
Let's all agree that Hunter Renfrow was tremendous for us and has proven already that he is a terrific NFL receiver.
And it's great to be excited about H.Renfrow and to cherish our memories of watching him play for us.
Go Tigers!

I have to go with Sammy Watkins. Hunter was certainly Mr. Clutch.

I can’t think of another receiver who has accomplished more as an underdog. No one more clutch than Hunter Renfrow.

svaughn ... can I assume that you remember (or better yet, watched) "the catch" against U.of S.Carolina down in Columbia in 1977?
That was my first Clemson vs. S.Carolina road game ... Butler's "the catch" was so clutch and tremendous that I thought my head would explode.
Thanks for posting the memory!

I also count dependability. I don’t remember Hunter missing more than a handful of games, both pro and college. Even with a broke wrist!

A hand that was broken scoring the GW TD on a play where he was wide open but DW4 slightly overthrew him...had to stretch to his limit to keep a toe in while making the catch falling OOB...no chance to break his fall.
Without that catch we don't win, we don't make the natty.
The broken hand was worth it.

Also received a poorly thrown 4th down ball by Chase Brice to beat Syracuse. Without that, we don’t win 2018 Natty!

Sammy Watkins is the best receiver Clemson ever had......hunter is probably the most likeable and has the best catch...however, Sammy is the best

Hunter has already missed 3 games in his first 3 seasons. I love Hunter but right now it's Nuk and it's not even close. Nuk is a hall of famer with 5 season of 95+ receptions. #13 might get there but he's got a ways to go yet.

Did anyone miss the fact that Renfrow just made Raiders history? 90+catches for the season. Only Jerry Rice and Tim Brown have done that. Comparisons have been made to Steve Largent. I can only hope that he can have that many consistent years.
For all you youngins, Steve Largent was Mr. Catch. He had the most receptions in the NFL, until it was broken by Jerry Rice. Not bad for a slow white boy

Echoing other posts, love Hunter, but... Sammy was the best in Clemson uniform Mike Williams was unstoppable with DW4 And kind of hard to argue anyone but Nuk overall considering he's on track for HOF
