For all those who are convinced Muschamp is history

Nov 25, 2013, 4:11 PM

I don't always agree with Schlabach, but I do agree with this opinion about Florida. Muschamp gets one more chance to prove he can do something with all the talent he has brought it. No threat for any of our coaches taking a look at Gainesville. Not yet, anyway.

(I'm referring to his video on this page)

they have a great defence. hope they dont steal chad morris.

Ask Georgia Southern about their defense.....

Nov 25, 2013, 4:56 PM

... I would agree their defense has potential, but they are almost as erratic as the second and third string offense that has been playing lately.

Re: Ask Georgia Southern about their defense.....

Nov 25, 2013, 4:59 PM

you have to look at all the time the florida D spends on the field because the offense doesnt spend much time there.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not sure which game you refer to, but time of possession

Nov 25, 2013, 5:10 PM

was nearly equal for Florida and Georgia Southern. The same defense that held SCar to about 350 yards also gave up about 450 to Georgia Southern in about the same amount of time. Of course, SCar got over half from passing where Southern got it all on the ground. (All from memory so numbers may be off a little).

Nah. They may start the season uninterested but

Nov 25, 2013, 4:55 PM [ in reply to if they retain muschamp ]

if and when Florida starts winning they will fill the stands and crowd in front of the plasma screens....

Muschamp is not going anywhere... Brent Pease, the OC on the other hand, is toast.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Most likely the right outcome at the end of the season.***

he lost to an injury depleted Charleston Southern team

Nov 27, 2013, 1:17 AM

he deserves to get fired

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.
