Football Injuries

Mar 31, 2022, 11:02 AM

Not casting blame anywhere but certainly cannot explain all these injuries. Most of the skill players (2 of 3 top RB's), most of the top WR's, and injuries all over the place at every position. Even our drafted players, last year ETN with the Lisfranc all season misses his entire rookie year. This year our top NFL prospect, Andrew Booth, can't even practice at the Combine.

Lack of on-field training and tackling? Lack of stretching? Lack of conditioning/running? Weightlifting routines? Damnifino!

The injuries are well past coincidence. Cannot remember this many routinely over-trained Ford players missing much time, but that could just be the 30-40 years that have passed since Ford's hey day.

WTH is happening to all these hard working ball players?

Who knows but it’s crazy, we barely had injuries for 8 years & then we get hit. I can’t point but to three things, no more Oklahoma drill & limits on practice & more time off.

I hope it all disappears but most are more likely to reinjure the previous injury or to injure the opposing muscle or ligaments while compensating for weakness.

We all need to pray and believe that our injuries are getting better and better everyday in Every way!

Let’s go injury free Tigers! No injuries for 2022!

We are just being extra cautious and letting younger guys play

No big deal in Mar/Apr

Last year was an anomaly and not a trend.

Do you try to explain when you get sick? Football is a violent game and injuries happen. Life happens, try it.

My last time on the football field in full pads was 1978 ... back then we just played through multiple concussions. But not knee, and ankle and foot problems. Hamstring and quad injuries were rare. Just never seen the Tigers have so many injuries.
