You do not know they would beat Clemson.
They both played 1 elite team.
Clemson lost by 7 and had a chance to win
Florida got stomped by 21 and it was not even that close

Florida has losses to Alabama, 31-29, and Kentucky, 20-13.
Alabama is currently #1, and Kentucky is currently #16.
Florida has wins over Florida Atlantic (by 21 points), South Florida (by 22 points), and Tennessee (by 24 points).
I don't see how any objective fan thinks we would beat Florida right now, based on the fact that we have barely beaten the two power 5 teams we played (neither of whom are ranked in the top 25) and also have a bad loss.
Florida has looked much better this year than we have, and I really don't know how you can argue that.

Until Clemson shows some offense fire power and actually drives the ball into the endzone we will not be favored against teams like UF. We have an elite Defense for sure and the number of players getting experience and performing is impressive but we cant score and our QB play is perplexing. When he does make a great read and throws the ball on time we can't catch it. Having said all of that, I am not sure the teams listed in front of us could all beat us either. We need a solid game on both sides of the ball before we worry about rankings.

What difference does it make? Being ranked does not change the fact that we need a bath and a change of clothes.

Florida has 2 more losses and will finnish 8-4. We might have a chance to play them in the Dukes Mayo Bowl is we don’t get our act together.
