Didn't we get screwed in this game and the 76 game?

A wide angle shot of that play would show that all of UT’s linemen were standing in the end zone. No penalty was called.

I seem to remember, 50 years later, that we went in for a touchdown and the guy was clearly in before sliding out on his knees. I'll be interested to find out what the truth is as I read through the thread which I haven't done yet

I can't believe you showed Clemson losing in one of your Flashbacks.***

If memory serves, this was the game where Tennessee had the receiver come off the sideline as the play started and caught a long touchdown pass. Red Parker was incensed, so was my daddy lol! Typical SEC

I was at that game in Knoxville and that dude came off the sideline, I was screaming to the top of my lungs. I’ll never forget that game.

The guy that came off the sideline was Stanley Morgan from Easley, SC. He should have been wearing Clemson orange instead of that horrible yellow. He was a great player.

You think UT was paying recruits then? Have never forgotten who that player was.

I was at that game as well. There had to be linemen down field with all that scrambling going on! I was crushed when Sievers caught that pass. Tigers should have won that day.
