Couldn't agree more.....

Clemson's athletic department has failed here. It has been a glaring problem for a while now and is pretty poor that it's lasted this long without a solution.
If seats are what is needed to appease the fire marshal then make it happen. Also, both sides of the hill should be allowing student entrance. I can't believe people are making good money to allow this easily solved problem to persist.

Agreed. It’s “outsiders” who were hired to be in charge

who have no clue about the tradition of The Hill.
In their experience, they’ve just seen grassy areas in other stadiums that don’t really matter. If people want to sit there…fine. If not…who cares? Well as we know, Clemson’s hill is different.
In the very best years of Clemson Football, the Hill has seen its worst attendance. Makes no sense at all, other than bad policy.

Expand the permanent seating a little on each side and shrink the grassy area a little more. Do these kids even want to sit on a hill anymore?

You can show yourself to the door. The Hill is the hill because it’s covered in grass, not permanent seating.

endzone that include a bigger screen. I imagine they would have to do something to the hill to build a foundation for a larger video board.

...I can see it now;
Clemson scores as ESPN pans through the student section and into the "heavy-hitters" section, where we put all the fatties.
LOL or ###....I'm not sure at this point.

some of those ideas do sound pretty cool... group tickets for students, bands pregame (maybe Bowman?) have a gameday without gameday...
All we have to do is make it happen...

If "Best is the Standard" then we are certainly not meeting

that with filling the Hill.
Simply put, filling the Hill is not a priority for the University or they would get rid of the current Hill policy ("students only") and revert back to what had worked perfectly fine for the previous 50 years. It really does appear that the current Hill policy is nothing more than a bad administration decision that created a problem where one did not previously exist.

I totally agree. DRad blames the FM, CDS says it's not his lane, I guess the higher don't care as much as we do and just point finger. We need some high level iptay donors to get involved or maybe DHOOD to ask the tough questions! Balloons have been removed, gathering at the paw is over, the hill looks terrible...what's next?
