Unfortunately people do not get airlifted to the burn center in Augusta with minor burns. This is so horrible. I am praying for them.

Wow if people are injured and property is damaged, is that something to joke about?

Prayers to everybody affected. Nothing to go on joking about for crying out loud. Some people have no sense, and you can’t blame them.

All that said, that Smoking Pig specifically in Pendleton is my favorite restaurant that exists on this planet. Please don’t let it be over.

It will reopen soon.

The restaurant’s managers said it will be closed tonight. The owner has not yet made a decision about whether it will reopen on Saturday.

Uhhh depending on the strength of the explosion it could be closed for a while. They could need new kitchen equipment and inspections.

I hope that’s not the case though, was planning on heading there next week

and opened. Within a year, just about all those old truck stops along Highway 301 had mysteriously burned to the ground.

Of course, many, MOST even of these old truck stops had what one trucker that went to my church called female "night crawlers" in residence. One, named The Rebel Truckstop, believed in real truth in advertising. They had a two legged, hand lettered sign they would put out front. It simply said:

"SUZY is HERE!" :)

It was a much simpler time, way before AIDS or any of that stuff.
