Will be a tough game. You have played 1 team with a heart beat and how did that go?
Let's see, over the next month we play UGA, LSU, Tennessee and Florida. You play who??
Ga Tech?? And you guys are making a big deal about it? Va Tech? They couldn't even with the Big East!!! Wake?? Really?? Just lost to Duke at home. NC State?? UT beat them like a drum.
So this may be our 1st tough game but we have many to follow, you on the other hand are plating a schedule just about equivalent to a good 4A region in SC.

Again, you guys brought up the "Carolina finally playing team with a heartbeat" and I posted who each team plays in the future. Where was I wrong or does the facts kind of get in the way of emotions here?
You played 1 team with a heartbeat and they went on a 35-3 run against you. Honestly, take off your glasses and tell me who you have left on your schedule that is even a threat other than South Carolina. You can talk about climbing in the polls all you want but it is much easier winning your next 4 when you play the schedule you have. Which team on your schedule in the next month would be favored to beat us?
You think you'd walk thru our next 4 as easy as the 4 you have coming up?
But that is ok, you have to play who is on your schedule and you can't control the rest of the teams in your league. So while we play in front of 80,000 for the next 4 weeks you guys enjoy your big game environments.

Hey coot, no matter how you try to spin it, the original post was about who you had played up until now, and who you play this week. It had NOTHING about anything further. You have played NOBODY thus far, and will be playing a tough opponent this weekend. Deal with the facts! Oh.....I forgot. Facts just confuse you clowns.

You can't have it both ways coot...

You can't thump your chest and boast about playing in the $EC and then turn right around and whine about how tough it is.
I also don't think I would add LSU or Tennesse to the the "tough" list. Based on what I've seen, both teams are very beatable but I wouldn't expect any less from a ####. You deluded goobers are experts at over-inflating your team and your schedule.
Remind me again how great Vandy is since you needed a gift from the official to avoid a likely loss.

Really, at LSU isn't tough? Right. Ask NC State if UT is tough, they are better than anyone on your schedule except FSU. You guys are funny, you bring up the "team with a heartbeat" but when someone points out that your schedule is loaded with teams with no heartbeat you get upset.
So why you're playing your big games the next 3 weeks against Ga Tech who just got beat by MTSU, Va tech who lost to Cincy and Pitt and who else, Maryland, Nc State, Duke and Wake?? Yes sir, now those are some big timers!!
Just because you're playing at home doesn't mean their big time.

I am not upset, not sure why we can't have a conversation without name calling, and if you look at thread only Tiger fans have started the typical Coot name tossing.
I am trying tp put things in perspective: 1) you guys and FSU are the cream of tha ACC, not even close between you and 3rd best team in ACC. Only good championship for your conference would be a rematch between you and FSU. 2) I agreed that this is our 1st big test so not sure why you guys are mad at that 3) Pointed out other than FSU and us the rest of your schedule is pretty weak. Do you disagree with that?? You think Ga Tech is good? Did you see them thrashed at home to MTSU? Do you really think Va Tech is good?? Pitt destroyed them and Cincy just beat them. Wake?? Duke?? NC State who UT beat like a drum?? Maryland??
4) In October we play: UGA, LSU, UT and Florida.
I am glad we have that schedule because in the end we'll know how we stack up with top teams in country. If you win out beating those teams what have you proven?? That you can beat teams that aren't just very good?
Again, I am not sure why we can't talk without it getting personal but you guys and FSU are toating the flag for the ACC!!

LSU can't possibly be considered a tough team.....

Afterall, LSU struggled to get past Auburn and you ##### have already made it abundantly clear that Auburn is an $EC bottom feeder.
Either LSU is not as good as advertised or Auburn is better. So which is it #### lover?
Again...you goobers can't have it both ways.

LSU is the #3 team in the land

...and unbeaten. Pretty #### good team.
Auburn is getting better each week...their QB is still horrible but they seem to have found a defense and a running back.
Bottom line is the preseason is over for everyone in the Top 10 and things will shake themselves out in October. UGA and Alabama have the easiest schedules...UGA has to get by USC and UF. UA has to get by LSU and aTm.
The ACC is done. Barring and upset of biblical proportions, FSU will meet someone in Charlotte. Looks like Miami right now..unbelievably.
I don't think Clemson loses another conference game.

LSU's current position in the polls....

is based entirely on a grossly over-inflated preseason ranking. They have certainly not done anything on the field to earn a top ten ranking let alone a top five ranking. There is a very good reason why their ranking has dropped for two consecutive weeks.

Genius, SC is still on their schedule. Shows what you think of your own team.

Enjoy it because your schedule only looks like that every 5 seeasons. Next year you will be back to playing Kentucky, Auburn, and Arkansas instead of LSU and Florida.

Doesn't matter who they play I'm just trying to prove a point that their schedule is insanely tough this year but in years previous and in the future it rotates. About 80% of USC fans always say "Well we have to play LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Arkansas and Auburn when they're good!" But truthfully their in conference schedule doesn't ever look like that. You don't play 4-5 teams from the SEC West in conference play. Playing Auburn is much less of a task than playing LSU, no matter how you slice it (unless it's 2010.)

next year arkansas comes off sc schedule and t&am becomes the west permanent team. arkansas will rotate like all other west teams. florida is in the same division and will always as usual play sc every year. but the sec will be going to new schedules this next year,so that does not mean georgia will automatically get alabama, lsu, or arkansas.

No doubt we'll find out what we have, or don't have, this weekend. Frankly I was surprised we opened as a 3 point favorite. I do like the way we match up with UGA...interesting sidebar: as good as Aaron Murray is touted he's never beaten a Top 20 team.

It's your front 4, which is one of the best, if not the best in the entire country versus their O-line and whether or not the big ponies up front can make holes for the young RBs.
I think Clowney has a big game but the whole defense has to play well because this is literally the first offensive test of the season. Before Georgia I think Missouri was the best offensive you faced (ranked like #74 in the country in Total Offense) so they can obviously score and move the ball but I don't think they have faced a front 4 like yours yet either.
I am excited to see how Marshall and Gurley play against such a talented front 7. I will definitely be rooting for UGA in this one but it really could go either way. This game will go a long way in proving which team is for real. It could be the year UGA finally meets their preseason expectations or it could be the year USC finally breaks out of the funk and makes a splash on a big stage (I hope it's the former.)
