Well Georgia is one of the top states for basketball talent and I'm pretty sure Clemson isn't too far from the state line. Also arguably the best 2 players in college basketball this year are from SC.

That is the one thing that no one knows how to do as far as Clemson basketball is concerned.

Texas Tech has 32 NCAA tourney games. We have 23.
Auburn is about the same as us but they finished 4th in the nation before. Our highest final ranking is 13th.

Texas Tech spends nearly 2 million more, Auburn nearly 4 million more.
Huh, interesting note. We would rank 14th of 15 in the SEC in basketball spending and 10th of 11 in the Big 12. Only edging Georgia and Ok State. Glad to know there is a floor to this thing.
We would be 6th in the American. So there is our "upside?". #1 in the A10!

We have the money to spend.
Wonder why D. Radakovich isn't spending more? What does Brad say he needs that DRad won't give him?

the vital importance of this information.
To them, our coaches are somehow supposed to compete with other programs who prioritize their basketball programs more than we do.

Judge - Would be great to see Brad and DRad develop a plan to move basketball to the level we all desire listing improvements with proposed costs and implementation time line. Do you think that is possible? Or - has it been done and I just missed it?

Auburn has Charles Barkley in your face all year long on TV

... and they were willing to hire a guy like Bruce Pearl.
Clemson has never had a player with as high a career profile as Barkley and Clemson will not hire a shady coach. We’ve been down that road.

that Barkely was. Plus, Barkley is much more well-known, and still relevant today. Just about everyone knows who Charles Barkley is. Most haven't ever heard of Tree Rollins or Larry Nance.

Tree was recruited illegally and we were the only offer Larry Nance had.
Tate’s Locke signed Tree amid a big scandal that got us on three years of NCAA probation. He played on some really good Clemson teams, but we were ineligible for the NCAA Tournament.
Larry Nance was not offered by any other major program. He was set to go to Anderson JUCO when we took a chance on him. He grew about 5 inches between HS and his freshman year at Clemson.
I agree that to be successful, we need to sign better players on a consistent basis, but Tree and Nance aren’t great examples of how it gets done.

Didn't Clemson run Auburn out of the gym in last years NCAA tournament? What a difference a year makes.
