Committed recruits that "flipped"....

Just a little fun here.
In recent memory these "big time" recruits were committed to Clemson, but "flipped"...
Demarcus "bud" Robinson. - we had instead Artavis Scott. Winner: CU
Robert "#1" KimDooshie - we had Vic Beasley (3*) and Shaq Lawson. Winner: CU
Dalvin Cook - at the same time we "settled" for Wayne Gallman. Winner: CU
My oh my! - it's great to be a Tiger!!

huge fan of "the Wayne Train" but lets call the competition between him and Cook a draw.

There's a reason for anything. Posted months ago that Wayne was better them cook. Cook is a great back. But Wayne's a great man. I'm sure we get who we get because of character. GO TIGERS !!!

Gallman has certainly been a fine representative of the University....and of all the kids who came out of the same hs in Atlanta--including Nkemdiche--I believe we got the best.

love Wayne Train ... but you can't really say he's better

than Cook. Both are great backs. A healthy Cook in our offense might rush for 2000!

The point of the post wasn't to declare any our guys "better".
Simply that we got the ones we were meant to have and they have all been awesome enough that we didn't miss the ones that "got away"....at all.

Dalvin definitely has an advantage over Gallman.

DC plays for a coach that will run the score up on a weaker opponent by letting an RB get 200+ on the ground.
About 100/game is all Dabo will let WG get.

I would say Wayne is the better pickup because

Dalvin Cook would have been kicked off the team at Clemson with the stunt he pulled. Thus making his talent useless.

Dalvin Cook is the best RB in the country. Gallman is a good one but Cook is definitely better

And yes, he's better than Feaster. He's also better than the Wayne train. I know it's difficult to take the bias out of it, but last season DC was better and it's a clear difference.

Elijah Daniel, 2013 DE commit flipped to Auburn
Feb 6, 2016, 6:07 AM
|
|
He was icked off the other Tigers team last year after burglary charges; ended up at Murray State. We "settled" for Shaq Lawson, technically a 2012 commit but started CU career in 2013 after a year at Hargrave. Kevin Dodd was 2012 class after a year at Hargrave.
Wonder if Carl Lawson and Montravius Adams have any regrets. Neither were commits but we recruited them hard. While both teams have played for a NC in the last 3 seasons, Auburn has gone 27-13 while Clemson has gone 35-6. We've have depth at DT, but could use Lawson at DE this fall.
