That is stupid. Chad has made comments about not trusting players plenty of times and they didn't quit. He said it more than once about Legget. Most players just buckle down and try to earn his trust. When he said he didn't trust Deshaun under center, Deshaun just said he was going to work on it, not quit the team.
What did he expect, anyway? He has been away from football a long time and obviously needed time to get back into football shape and relearning things like ball protection. You don't know what has happened in practice. He might have been putting the ball on the ground a lot.

Morris's comment wasn't insulting. If you put the ball on the ground, the coach isn't going to trust you with the ball. You have no idea what has gone on in practice. For all you know, he was dropping the ball repeatedly.

He should have carried the ball on some our short yardage plays on 3rd or 4th and short or on the goal line. NO one in the program right now runs harder and can bulldoze anyone like he could. Personally I hate to see him go, because his services are needed. Flame away.
