Game time set for Clemson-NC State

The ACC announced that the Virginia Tech-Miami will be at 8 pm ET on Saturday night so that means that the Clemson-NC State game will be at 3:30 pm EST. Read Update »

Both teams control their own destiny in the game and the winner remains in the driver's seat while the loser has to slide over.

Being in the drivers seat means that you control which direction you go (not dependent on anyone else's play) kind of like driving a car. This is why they refer to it as the "Drivers Seat"
