College FB is hard, and pro FB is about 5 times harder bc it's now their lively hood. It never stops, the circle continues year round. Training, training, training, and the diet that keeps your body in charge of healing it's self. Everything that pro players has to do just to prepare the body to endure a 16 game season and that's not counting the playoff games when a team is good enough to advance to the playoffs and the playoffs in the playoffs. It takes a special athlete to endure a super bowl season and want to come back and do it all over again through out their FB career. If a player has a long NFL career, they're most likely in pain the rest of their life and not worth a shiot for employment at any level when they are done with FB. I think that it's great for helping an athlete to get a free education through college for the ones that actually uses the college game for getting themselves prepared for life after college. They don't owe no one for their education like most that has to pay for years after college. If college athletes were really smart, they would do the 5 or 6 year college plan that the education received would open a lot of doors for high paying employment that the only injury they will get is a sore A$S. And when they retire, their bodies aren't used up, and they can thoroughly enjoy the rest of their life. Now that is a very smart athlete....

No! That does not suck.

What sucks is mental and physical incapacities due to repeated abuse.
What sucks is not being able to make those decisions for yourself.
What sucks is someone else making that decision for you when you aren't ready.
I hate to see him leave the game, too, but I respect him for making the decision.
... and I thank him for everything he did for our team.
Jadar - use your degree and make a great life! I hope you stay connected to the Clemson family.

Learning from Dabo and the other coaches, he's fortunate that he has other interests to pursue. Imagine if he was a typical football player grad from an SEC school. Good luck to him.

Grades regarding their draft stock should always remain their final year. I believe players shouldn't be able to leave early period. I sure hope all goes well with him.

He was a senior and got his degree...

His draft grade had nothing to do with anything, his eligibility was up. Educate yourself next time before you take a potshot at a player who played a key role in bringing home a national title.
By the way this is a free country, so you can't control the life decisions people make in their lives. It's their life to live not yours. Maybe you should start living your life, and stop being overly obsessed with the life decisions 18-23 year olds make.

I'll never forget Jadar's comments during the National Championship celebration in Death Valley. After hearing that I believe this young man will succeed at whatever he decides to do next. Well done Jadar! Always a Tiger!

I expected to be watching him on sundays/Mondays for years to come. Glad he has his head on straight and not just chasing a fat pay check. Go do you JJ, Thanks for the great plays and memories.
