I like the fact that Clemson is starting to play offense against a team that has been playing by the rules no opponent is allowed to see. Screw the ACC. THEY HAVE MILKED THE GOLDEN CALF TOO DANG LONG!. THE ACC HAS ALWAYS DISRESPECTED US.

We have buyer’s remorse because we willingly signed a contract years ago tying us to the ACC for decades, and now we don’t want to honor it because we realized that it was a stupid deal.

Trying to wrap my head around this -- seems like Clemson is saying the ACC has been making false assertions regarding the GoR AND that resulted in an opportunity cost cuz Clemson would have jumped ship sooner if not for the ACC's misdeeds. Is that correct?

That is exactly correct. If conference realignment moves swiftly, which with the revenue sharing settlement soon to be agreed on, this could really speed things up and we will be stuck with ACC chains around our neck. Clemson knows this and knows that the SEC and BIG are going to only add 2 teams or less and if we get left out and have to pony up an additional 20 million a yr. for revenue sharing, we will be screwed. Do you think the ACC or anyone in NC gives a ####?

It's impossible to get your head around because it makes no sense. Clemson did pledge its property to the ACC in the GOR, and the GOR itself says "irrevocable." This amendment was done by amateurs. It's truly ridiculous.
