For simply saying I didn’t want my child to wear a paw. This is coming from a 3rd generation alumnus. This speaks volumes in how they would like to sensor the fans who speak out with how things are going.

Seems like certain individuals would rather redirect their frustration towards a “microphone typo” rather than focusing on the state of this team. They are part of the problem too. My child will not be forced to go to Clemson like I was. I loved Clemson and everything that it once stood for, but times have changed and Clemson isn’t what it once was. I inherited close to $30,000 in debt for attending and paid it all off. Did my degree from Clemson make the difference in my hiring and career? I asked my boss after working for 12+ plus years and it didn’t make a difference at all as I interviewed well and the degree didn’t matter. From the professor scandal to the mismanagement of donor funds to supporting a failure of a football program. Clemson isn’t looking like a quality investment anymore.

Maybe because that’s a terrible outlook and sounds very cootish. My kid is all in and she tells everyone her blood runs orange. She will have her orange on next Friday just like she’s always done. We love our team, win or lose. Frustrating season for sure but we are always a Tiger. We aren’t going to the natty every year or make the playoffs. No team will

Some are not realizing how layered my response is. Attending Clemson now is very expensive unless you come from a family of wealth. Do I honestly want my child to have years of debt to pay off for attending Clemson if it doesn’t truly make a difference in today’s economy? (This could be debated bass upon the degree though) if my child gets a great scholarship sure they can go to Clemson. If not, they can go somewhere local and save money towards a mortgage so they aren’t in the debt cycle that so many young people are in. The football team sucking allows it to be easier to remove yourself but wasn’t the determining factor. The university continuing to ask for more every year and not showing gains should also be considered. When I graduated, Clemson was a top #25 public university in the nation. That isn’t the case anymore and we don’t even have a good football team anymore.

Community colleges are very good at educating people (of all ages) to acquire valuable job skills. They are (probably) always much less costly than what gets charged by an in-state four year university.
Trashing Clemson as if Clemson is unique as for charging ever (and rapidly increasing) higher tuition + books - room + board fees (for educational quality that does not increase) is unjustified in that no other from among the other in-state universities in America is different.
The entire value proposition for on-campus 4 year college education has been declining for decades.
As for being mad at our FB team, be mad. Equating our FB team to the overall Clemson education, on the other hand, is nut-case stuff.

Waaah we don’t win every week so I don’t want to represent my school anymore.
From alleged alumni who like to tell the rest of us all the time about how alumni are the only real fans. Some of us sat in Death Valley before the West Zone and all the bells and whistles and watched 3-8 football teams scrap and claw for every yard and screamed our fool heads off. Some adversity after over a decade of the best Clemson football anyone ever witnessed and you’re tossing your gear away and hanging your head. #### off then and don’t put that #### back on when the good times return.

2013 graduate with Latin honors from Clemson. Also grew up in a family that brought me to Clemson football games from the 90s until 2019 with season tickets to football. The university isn’t the same. Professors were speaking political bias when I was there rather than speaking facts. Students that I know who attend Clemson now confirm that it has only gotten worse. Football doesn’t deserve the money that we donated. It is completely acceptable to be disappointed in how the university is being managed. Free thinking is a powerful thing.
