YouTube again

Before anyone slings flaming arrows..this is just my opinion and what I have done. This has happened 2 or more times with YouTube, I contract and sign up for packages through youtube. If they cannot or will not provide then after money is paid, they should refund it in situations where this is board members drinking beer and playing cards.I decided to drop YouTube and switch to Hulu for now with Dsney channels for 39.99. I don’t know which side started it but whatever the case key be,youtube presents the channels (or not) that I pay for. No show-no pay! They don’t offer refunds which I expect no less in this day of corporate hit men. There’s always someone around who I’ll figure out a solution around this crap. I saw someone mention Sling TV as well as an option.I think it entirely appropriate to find any and all legal ways to deprive youtube of money as a penalty for their last minute government modeled poker game when thy don’t own the chips! Go Tigers!!!!!

It happens with other providers including satellite like DirectTV and cable providers as well. These disputes are nothing new. They give them their increases and the provider turns around and passes it on to us eventually.

Exactly. I got Youtubetv when it first came out. Believe it was under $60. Now it's $90, At some point these streaming services are going to price themselves out.

You’ve played right into Disney’s hands. YouTube TV is the largest streaming service in America. Disney was hoping you and others would jump ship and come to their platform if Hulu or Fubo. It’s not YouTube’s fault, it’s the greed of Disney. They’re trying to recoup losing revenue over insisting on being woke. Disney is evil. They ruined Star Wars. They ruined college football. I refuse to give them a wooden nickel.

But If you want to pay an additional 50$ a month for garbage programming, feel free. I mean, ancient aliens, finding bigfoot, paranoral shows, and CNN/ Fox news etc.. are clearly worth being that rube, no?

I only get YouTube TV to watch Clemson football and basketball, Disney Hulu does not have the ACC network, then I swiftly cancel. I watch netflix and apple TV, the programming is far better. You have a choice here. You can also just pay a flat 29.00 for the full ESPN package, but again, Hulu Live is charging you 50$ for non-streaming channels full of mindless junk.

and also note, if you cancel Hilu, they pro rate and you get a refund, You are locked into youtube for the full term of the payment cycle. But at the end of the day they are all greedy corporations, you get to pick which flavor, so no point in complaining, because you decide what you consume.

Offered 20 in credit if it was not worked out.

Not sure who needs to know this but the providers pay for their channels. It could be any channel on any provider that decides to raise their rates. YTTV is just negotiating a better price. Happens regularly.

Disney continues to be the biggest thorn in all these channels negotiations. Just hate folks look at the provider being the problem while they are trying to negotiate a better deal for the consumer.
