Mizzou - member of SEC since 2012

Just curious. What conference were they in before 1992? Don't really know or care to know too much of the history of #### football but i for some reason thought they were in the SEC for longer than that. shows what i know. losing is losing whatever conference they're in so doesn't matter much.

Yeah, but Missouri was DOMINATE in their former conference...

Even though their last conference title was 1969 (sound familiar)...I'm certain they were dominate...to dominate the sec east like they have...

The word is DOMINANT. You know, like Clemson USED to be in the ACC from 1956-1991, when the Tigers averaged one ACC title for every 3 years for 36 years. This all happened before hitting the great downhill slide of one conference championship in 23 years. Even SC didn't go 20 years without an ACC Championship. They joined in 1954, won their title in 1969. The Tigers had a drought of 20 years from 1991-2011. The question should be, when will Clemson will another ACC title?

Next year looks strong for ACC title with possible national title run and the next year we should be competing for the national title not just ACC.
