Listen. Management is nothing more than a bunch of idiots. I’ve been drinking at work for decades. They don’t have the right to tell me what to do. First off they’ll tell you to wear a mask in the office. Then next thing you know, no one is allowed to drink alcohol at work! Are you willing to let this injustice occur without putting up a fight? I can’t and I won’t! Today I draw the line! Nobody puts a muzzle on this sheep!!! Scream it with me while you still can... One more round until Friday!!! Drink it with me... One more round until Friday!!! They can’t stop us now... One more round until Friday!!!

How do you fix crap? Toilet paper. From the forest. Who can fit into tight spaces? Elves. From the forest. How do you make a good movie? Hire the best actors. Forest Whitaker. Why can’t you see the trees? For the forest. Literally the forest. Where does wood that smokes the best meat come from? The forest. Where do they get wood to make the barrels to age our bourbon in? The forest. Where should we bury the ignorant bosses? You already know. The forest needs more fertilizer to keep providing the answers we need.

Yes. I wasn't sad to see this mountain of a woman go as

she was high strung and terrible at her job, but she absolutely knew she was about to get fired.
We brought some young buck in with big bawls full of #####, and she was about to take a couple of days to got buffet-ing (I assume). We asked her to catch Mr. Big Heavy Bawls up on everything she had going on, so he could "cover for her." She came to me and fatly said "Is something going on?" I distracted her with a trough full of food waste from the break room, and said "Nope, just want Mr. Big Loads to cover for you and get up to speed."

and says that he feels like firing somebody today and who do you think he should go after.
I already had a list.
Thought that was fun until I realized that at some point, I'm going to be the one somebody names.
So I GTFO

I have never worked with anyone that just felt like firing people. Most everyone hates having to let people go, even if they are fuckoffs.

easier when you don't have to actually face your decisions and just have someone else deal with it.

Letting people go, regardless of reasons, SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS.
Nothing like watching a grown ### man with a family beg for his job back while crying.

One of the most stressful things I've ever had to do
Mar 4, 2021, 12:56 PM

was fire an 80 year old facebook coach who just moved down from the upstate to work for me.
The firing was warranted but I dreaded it for days before finally calling him in.
He already knew he was going to be fired and DGAF. Worked out very well compared to how I thought it was going to go.

He did it right before I left for vacation before 4th of July. I thought that was kinda ######, but I did have a nice severance to spend in NYC and he ended up giving me my job back a year later with a fat raise.
