Here is one example of why MAGA loves Trump.

Before he was president, Trump bought
an estate in West Palm Beach, Florida. He put up a 80 foot flag pole and flew a 375 sq ft US flag on it. The City Council told him that he could only have a 30 foot pole but he refused to take it down. They told him they would fine him $1250 a day until he took it down. He said fine, that's a chump change. When the fine reached $120,000 he went to the the city council and made a deal. He would lower the flag to a 50 foot pole if he could donate the $120,000 to the Veterans Affairs, to which they agreed. He took 80 foot pole down and a landscape company came in and bould a 30 foot hill where the pole was and put up a 50 foot pole. Lol... That's why we love the guy.

Another desperate attempt by lefties who hate America’s most prominent symbol of greatness … the American flag … of the Donald Trump’s proud support of America and our flag.
70 foot height instead of 80 feet. Oh my oh my.
Trump didn’t build the hill; it was already there. Trump was smart enough to argue that the height of the hill itself was not part of the length of the flag pole. Whew, what a hard hitter from USA Today and FakeCheck.
The jurisdiction which had the flagpole dispute with Trump was Palm Beach instead of West Palm Beach. Wow!
There was no photograph in my post. Who GAS about whether a golf course was nearby or not? Irrelevant to the story.

This is an interesting comment to me, because it is about a symbol, not something of substance.
Conservatives really get hung up on symbols. Kneeling for the anthem. Flying the flag.
I think our national values are what matters and don't really get worked up over the flag or the anthem.

That Trump donated money to veterans related charity.
Now, if you or others assert that many (not all, but many) veteran’s related charities are scams (awful payout vs admin fee ratios), and would identify the charity(s) to which Trump had donated, then the Trump haters might have a case that Trump doesn’t do his homework on charities.
This might just be a chance for a layup for the Orange Man Bad crowd to deride Trump.

You and your lefty buddies have yet to make the case for establishing ‘gullibility’ among those who cheer how Trump outwitted the local government so that he could loudly and proudly display the American flag.

You really like that the President (or future President at the time I think) flaunts the law and applaud him for "outsmarting city hall" so he could make some statement about how patriotic he is?
You believe he loves his country because of the size of the flag he flies, while being so willing to ignore the countless times he's put his personal ambitions and image above the good of the country and/or the good of the political ideology he purports to support.
Kept pushing the election fraud lie and let both GA Senate seats go Dem so the dems keep majority in the Senate...but look at the size of his flag.
Stands on the stage with Putin and clearly denigrates the efforts of US intel in favor of Putin...but look at the size of his flag.
Encouraged and supported (by doing nothing to stop) insurrectionist at the US Capital on Jan 6...but look at the size of his flag.
Withheld aid to Ukraine so they would investigate his political rival...but look at the size of his flag.
