oh, did you mean his decision to smoke up? if you don't realize that at least 1 out of 3 of our scholarship athletes smoke weed (just as 1 out of 3 non-athlete Clemson students and other college students do), you are being extraordinarily naive.
Marijuana is ubiquitous on the Clemson campus. Since when have campus cops been taking students into custody for simple possession? In my day, they would call Pickens County to handle distribution weight, but they just took the personal use weed from you "for your own good" and told you not to do that anymore. Most serious police departments issue courtesy summons for simple possession. If what happened to Milt is typical of on campus simple possession by students, its time for Chief Link to be put out to pasture...

goodby. Yes, he is that important. Yes, he smoked a joint, to the vast majority of people its a big so-what. Research the history of why MJ is illegal and you will soon realize that the people who prosecute this stuff are the ones who should be locked up.

It is still illegal and as long as it is we should expect our students athletes to obey the law. It will hurt the team to loose him. But sometimes doing the right thing is difficult.
