Every founding member of the ACC

1

Feb 4, 2023, 6:35 PM

Has won the ACC. Every one of them. Later additons of GT, SOUTH CAROLINA, VT, FSU, Miami and ND have all won the conference. Eventually enough is enough. The latter programs have done it, so can we. Not sure what else is to be said besides go get a guy that can win it.

Wanna talk about fan support? Go to a midweek FSU or Miami game. You can play a nice game of chess in the stands with your buddy. It means nothing if you have a team well coached and developed. No more weak excuses. Good coach + talented team = results.

Brad Brownell has been given more than any former...

Clemson coach and it's not close.

Clemson is a public-schooled institution that is no longer considered the absolute basement of the ACC or most national reviews. It was ~500 or worse in Forbes in 2007, while many old schoolers trash Barker for his Top 20 vision. Yeah, you did it.

Anyone that lists the contributions to the basketball program and doesn't leverage how much Clemson, the University and surrounding community has risen in the eyes of most every established metric is an idiot.

The Clemson of the last 12+ years is not remotely the Clemson of 'history'.

Fug the stupid people for suggesting so...

You are correct, which makes it harder to swallow that teams like Miami and FSU are enjoying ACC titles and runs in the NCAA.

But we are STILL on top of the ACC

Feb 4, 2023, 6:50 PM [ in reply to Brad Brownell has been given more than any former... ]

so who says this isn't our year?

Sure, we looked like crap lately, but this is basketball. ANY team can have many off nights in a row.

You'll be singing Brad's praises once the nets are cut down in Charlotte, Greensboro, Asheville, Bakersville, Nags Head, or whenever in the heII in NC the ACC tourney is this year!

No, as too many "nets" have been missed because of him...

and more will be missed in the future.

South Carolina was a founding member of the ACC. But otherwise, you are correct. Later additions to the ACC have won the tournament whereas Clemson has not. I am going to go out on a limb here. Clemson will never win the ACC tournament while Brownell is the head coach. So why is Clemson keeping him?

Not a problem. You are probably just as upset over today's loss as I am.

Well, you have to admit he’s a nice guy.

People need to focus on what’s really important.

Even Wofford can make claim to an ACC title......When the Head Coach and 5 of the top 8 players were at one on the Terrier team, we can claim it.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Uh oh, nobody cares.***
