Used us as leverage for a better job. Also, hard to think any alumnus would publically dis his Alma Mater with his assessment of Clemson not having any potential to be successful.... Zero interest. Should strip him of his diploma and remove any traces of his existence as a Clemson Tiger. Sad, I hope he fails miserably wherever he goes.

I do not blame him for wanting to make more money at a place that he thinks is setup better to win over an extended period of time.
In his profession he can quickly flame out as a "big" name with a few below par seasons here.....
Can't blame Wade for this one. You have to blame our administration and how they view our baskeball program....

I haven't seen one quote from him talking about Clemson. Just some speculation that he thought that way.
And that's ridiculous. I guess Army should have stripped Coach K of his diploma when he left Army for Duke.

coaches are paid professionals looking to further their careers not return to and be fired eventually by their alma maters. we have no evidence that Wade did anything and he cant be faulted for taking a better job

obligated to take just because he went to Clemson? They reached out to him and tried to convince him to come and he said no thanks. It's not personal for him...it's a business decision.
