Yes, I said that last week and several of us said the same this morning, but you are correct. The posts on here, Pollsters, Talking heads, ESPN etc. all have said that the Coordinators made Clemson what they are and that they made Dabo a great head ball coach. But I believe it was just the opposite, Dabo made them great!

some of the best chief executives are those who have a knack for choosing excellent assistants.

Dwight Eisenhower was such a leader, one who was adept surrounding himself with top quality, while not necessarily being a highly-skilled battlefield commander. Thus, a successful coach doesn't have to an X's and O's genius; rather, he has to choose subordinates who are.
