Martavis Bryant

With the number if WRs drafted if Martavis had returned he likely would have cashed in as a RD 1 or early 2nd rounder. Similar to what happened with Stephone IMO.
I understand Martavis had family to take care of, but this should help Dabo when talking with guys about staying 1 more year. Vic turned into a top 10 pick and Stephone a 1st rounder.

on the table by going early, but also by simply not having the maturity to work at his game in college a la Nuk Hopkins or Sammy Watkins.
And while it seems as if he's finally tuning in to what others are telling him now, who knows.
Certainly he provides the coaching staff a cautionary tale to tell other players.
For me, I think the whole "going early" thing is more about the media blowing smoke up someone's #### to try to give them a "story". It's little more then than the media pimping 19-year-olds.
But then there's the story of Tajh Boyd as well. It's just as clear that he would have made millions likely by going pro after the LSU bowl game instead of coming back for his Senior Year. There was talk at the time of him being a clear first rounder, and even if the shine would have come off a bit by draft day, you have to believe he would have gone no less than 2nd round.
Sad story, that one hopes has a happy ending in Pittsburgh possibly.

That his senior year would be spectacular.
There is a possibility he would have been injured, had horrible stats, our some other factors that would have ended his nfl status.

He would have had Stoudt throwing to him so who knows about numbers

Stoudt struggled with the deep ball so production probably would have decreased

We all wish him well.

Ellington and Boyd

Two reasons why it's sometimes best to go early. Why do you think Pinion is leaving. It's all about timing and the depth of your position in that year's class.

this year had terrible WR depth. Guy from Bama while very good is extremely overrated. Not top 5 pick worthy. The Miami guy that went in the first I'd never heard of. They had to run the ball this past year or they sucked.
