Both are in their seventies and look to still enjoy coaching football.

Saban probably wants to go out on a high and another NC should do it so I see Mack going before then.

I have no idea how long Mack will stay. He is loved in Chapel Hill and for good reason. He’s a great human being. I think he will retire on his own schedule whenever that day comes. He deserves that.

I get the feeling Mack knows he's at the end of his rope. Would not surprise me if he leaves after this season.

Saban, on the other hand, is still competing for championships and I doubt he wants to live without football if his health holds up.

He’s a great guy but he had one (if not the best) QB the last two years and he couldn’t get it done. (Couldn’t win the ACC)They’ll take a huge step back next year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him retire after this year or another year or two.

Saban? I think he can go for another 5 or more years. He may have the best team in the nation again this year. We’ll see in ATL in a few weeks. Saban is the GOAT and I truly believe he’ll win at least 1 more National Championship maybe even two before he decides to hang his hat up.
