if that regarding Ohio St or FSU playing an SEC schedule.
Their guest (Mark Sclereth or something like that) says "Its hard to say if that makes a difference. I just watched two teams (mizzou/a&m) from an inferior conference go in there and mop the floor with the SEC"

21 points in ST scores. Bama only scored 14 points on offense the whole game. They were actually outgained on offense by VT ( 212 to 206 ).
...and that's a BAD VT team BTW.

the VT did not look as bad as I thought they will. Plus, if memory serves me correctly, VT had some key injuries prior to the state of the game and the tall QB was able to move the ball on the stud defense. But, this is all my from memory and at my age, this is a scary thing.

Sorry, I forgot, I should have learned from the other posts about the game last Saturday that the scoreboard isn't relevant in determining the outcome. That game was never in doubt.

And all they had to do was to beat Clemson for the 5th straight time to send them to the land of the irrelevant, knock them out of the top 10 and eliminate any chance they had. You can talk all the crap you want about South Carolina & their season if that takes the sting out of the loss for you but it means nothing.

... just pointing out the little "boo boo" SCAR fans like you are suffering from right now and that you are over here hoping to deflect.
I'm surprised you're not haunting the Missouri boards with rationalization as to why they don't deserve to be in the title game since you beat them head-to-head.

Last five years against a so called garbage conference clemson is: 5-6 against sec teams usc is 7-1 against the acc
sec is 50-30 against bcs schools acc is 34-55 against bcs schools
acc is 11-21 against the sec
Doing so poorly against such a weak conference is hard to swallow.

in Missouri's case it took them 2 years. Pinkel said after last season and earlier this year that was a very noticeable difference between the Big 12 and the SEC and had to make staff changes and approach practice and games differently.
He said the mental and physical aspect was on a new level.

the pack Big 12 team for 16 years, was able in it's first year in the SEC with a first year head coach and first year starting QB come in and be an elite SEC team right off the bat. And aTm only losing 3 games this season with as bad as their defense, even shows how overrated the SEC is. And Mizzou, a team considered by the SEC to be a cream puff, in it's second season in the SEC makes it to the conference championship game. That's right two middle of the pack Big 12 teams have came in and established themselves as SEC elite teams in their first 2 seasons.

up. USuC has strived on that basic premise for the entire portion of their, "best run in history". The coots also played only one good team from the West. If UT, UGA, and Florida ever get back to their capabilities all at once, then where do you think that would leave USuC? Battling for 4th with Kensucky and Kandy, that's where. Just like most of their 20+ years in the league.
And yes, cockz, I am aware of your recent anomaly record against us. Congrats on that, especially needing our 6 turnovers to win this year, but please spare us your "the wars of the SEC" type nonsense.

did someone really separate special teams scores from regular scores to say bama didn;t dominate
Some of you are really losing it
What if someone told you all the TDs Jacoby Ford, CJ Spiller, Sammy, etc scored on punts and kickoffs didnt really count for clemson
What a joke how many excuses can some of you dild#s come up with

The SEC is so incredibly overrated it's not even funny….

The Pac12 and Big12 are far better conferences than the SEC this year. In the SEC the best teams in the east don't play the best teams in the west, and vice versa. SEC teams win loss record is inflated by easy out of conference schedules and the SEC trying to make the conference schedule of each team as easy as possible.

You are aware that USC only played 1 team not d1 this year and that's because of the state legislature saying Clemson and cu have to play an instate team like that yearly. OOC games against UNC, away at ucf and against Clemson with only coastal being a small time school

Go schedule a real tough ooc opponent….
Dec 7, 2013, 4:45 PM

for the next 6 years, like Clemson has the previous 6, and then maybe coot you have something to talk about. UNC a tough ooc opponent, gtfo. UCF, not them either, they benefited from playing an easy schedule. Yes you coots did beat us a 5th year in a row. But, leaving Clemson aside, you coots do not play any tough ooc games at all. Go schedule a team like FSU, Miami, OU, OSU, Texas, Baylor. If you coots are such a big and bad SEC team. Also, there is no such law requiring Clemson or SCU to play an instate FCS opponent.
