I'm glad I waited to log on until after the game, as sure enough, I scrolled back up to see what initial reactions were from "Fans" -- and they did not disappoint with the absurd negativity with comments like...
"we didn't fix our offense"
"Riley still can't call a game"
NC State and APP were flukes
"Cade still sucks"
and of course blaming it all on our "idiot" coach for not using the portal.
I get needing to "vent" -- but at what point do you not see how being an over the top self proclaimed tough guy John Wayne makes you look inherently silly, insecure, or like a miserable person addicted to suffering?
In any event, glad the majority of Clemson fans -- have common sense, self control, and enough emotional maturity to keep things in perspective.
And on the positive side -- these individuals prove to me how absurd it is to listen to public opinion. I'll never forget one guy came up to me and even said "Trevor Lawrence disappointed him at Clemson because he only one one national championship" LOL
So thanks for continuing to demonstrate the importance of tuning out people's unhinged reaction to things.
And GO TIGERS!

If "hiding" is watching the game with friends and your family is "hiding" okay. I'm def not "morally superior" I just honestly feel sorry for folks that are that reactionary to life and don't understand the extreme reaction -- especially when the team and coach have more than proven itself.
Again big difference between questioning things vs the "we suck" approach after a few minutes of the first quarter...

I enjoy all the posts. There’s not one single opinion on this board that can EVER change my mood. So let ‘em say whatever they want. It’s more about the reader’s control-of-emotions than the posters’ opinions. People need to toughen up and let others have their opinions, even if it’s ridiculous. I learned that last year when I went through throat and neck cancer. I was taking football and this board waaaayyy too seriously. No more. You should try it. 😉

I am all for the critical analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of our football team. But when one cannot even wait to see the entire game before spouting off, one completely undermines their objectivity and their understanding of the game (and their mental stability, also).
