You do this constantly, you respond to criticisms of things you support by bringing up analogous things you oppose. You think this is “pointing out hypocrisy,” but really it’s just demonstrating your own. I think the problem is that you’re convinced you’re arguing with some caricature of liberals you see on libsoftiktok, when really most of us anti trumpers here are upper middle class fiscally conservative white dudes.

However, when corporate tax hikes were on the table under Biden and Bammy; not a peep from the TNet laureates.

You going to show us some posts from the Obama era to prove your point, or are you just assuming? I don’t think you’re going to find a lot of fans of increased taxation here. This is like a “wHeRe iS tEH oUtRaGE??!!??” post but in theory and retrospective. You can say you don’t support tariffs, but it always seems to come off as you defending your boy against the mean “TNet laureates” as you put it. It’s like arguing for the sport of it without making a point.

Corporations

Now, of course those can (and are) passed on to consumers, and that is a valid discussion.
However, there is no argument that tariffs are paid by the company doing the exporting. Tariffs are paid by the importer of the object being tariffed. And, of course, just like corporate taxes are passed on tot he eventual end consumer.
there is a distinct difference in these two issues.

Who pays for environmental regulations, who pays for $20/hr minimum wage laws, who pays for paid maternity care, who pays for illegal immigrants health care, and I can go on and on. No idea why tariffs, and only tariffs, get the "who pays for this treatment" as some kind of gotcha.

BECAUSE TRUMP CONTINUES TO LIE ABOUT IT!!...

He continues to say China pays the tariffs on China. It's wrong, both directly and indirectly and he HAS to know it's a lie. But that doesn't stop him because he knows folk of your ilk lap it up and ask for more.
But to the direct point...all of the things you mention play into the cost of production and indirectly the selling price of goods.
The difference is that tariffs have both a direct and indirect impact in that they can drive up the cost of goods (imported finished goods and imported sub-assemblies/raw material). But that's not all...they drive up the price of competitive goods not directly subject to the tariffs as price pressure from imports ease.
An example...we purchase a cast part out of China for $200. Pre-tariff, that same part out of the US costs $450 and that's assuming we can get someone to even quote it. Now, the landed cost of the $200 item from China is $490 (without freight for discussion's sake). So the part from the US supplier also rises to $490 or even higher. So the folks importing from China take a big hit and folks getting from a US source take a hit too. And that's why the consumer or b2b customer takes a bigger hit from tariffs than an increase in say, corporate tax rates (not that I'm in favor of corporate taxes).

Those other issues are talked about as well. Tariffs are a huge issue at the moment because Trump made it an issue.

Who pays for environmental regulations?

The better question is "who pays when environmental regulations don't exist?" Think this one through. Environmental regulations might cost you a dollar of your paycheck. Lack of environmental regulations would legitimately cost you your health, and eventually, your life.
Unless, of course, you believe megacorps are altruistic and will always do the right thing, and definitely won't take shortcuts to line their own pockets.
Here's the Cuyahoga River in OH before the Clean Water Act.
