Packer and Durham and learned that Notre Dame won the 2021 national championship in sword-fighting.

Apparently Clemson did not even make the tournament.

Does our sword-fighting coach have the resources to compete against the Irish and other top finishers like the New Jersey Institue of Technology and UC San Diego?

I'll hang up and listen. TIA in advance.

foil,epee,and sabre-the 3 basic weapons used each with a different way to score.it was a club sport in my CU days coached by prof hal coolidge from architecture.i was in it for a semester.

A fair question. In the brief film clips I saw there were people dressed in these white uniforms. They had on masks that covered their whole face, but it looked like they were made of porch screens...not cloth...so I don't see how it was Covid-safe.

Anyway, they were fighting with these skinny metal poles, i.e. swords.

We dropped fencing at the same time as field hockey, maybe 1982? I knew that would come back to haunt us!
