Considering that Duke dropped a game last night and may be expected to drop a couple of more games, it creates an avenue for Clemson to compete for the ACC Championship in a likely rematch against FSU. (THEY WON'T WIN THIS TIME).
All Clemson has to do is take care of business and allow things to play out from this point. There's no way that anyone is going to escape with less than two losses at this point. I expect at this point that we have the ability to win out from here.
Who knows, our Tigers may end up back at the table for a bid to the Big Dance.

Unfortunately, Duke"s loss last night has no effect on Clemson's chances of making it to the ACC Championship game.

Yes, it does whenever they lose their starting QB. Let's be honest here, the only reason why Duke has a pulse right now is because of Riley Leonard. Without him, they lose at least 3 or 4 games this season.

Only Clemson controls their destiny. If they win out in the ACC, they are there, if they don't they won't be.

If we win out, and FSU and or duke lose 3 ACC games or more we have a chance. Other teams like UL and Miami are still undefeated and would have to lose at least two or more for us to jump them as well. So even if we do somehow win out, which is far from a given, we still have to get very lucky. It could happen but I wouldn't wager on it at this point.
It seems we don't have the normal ACC this year where everyone has a chance to beat anyone in the conference. We have a handful of teams this year that seem to be above the pack. Going to be fun to watch. 🤞

The most likely situation is the POC seeding 2 teams from either the SEC or B1G. However, the playoff committee claims to evaluate the programs based on a lot of factors with one being how well a team is playing at the end of the season.
If the goal is to select the 4 best teams and Clemson establishes itself as such the POC might notice.

Way too early to even think about that scenario. First, we have to win out and that seems highly unlikely.
Louisville has a pretty easy path. Plus unc may have something to say about it, as does Miami. Just way too many scenarios. See what it looks like in November.
We got a good win yesterday but it was far from dominant. Took 3 cuse turnovers and we still punted 6 times.

Yep. Good win but let's see how Syracuse finishes to know how quality that win was. It was definitely a huge win in regards to how much we needed it and where the season could have gone with a loss. I'm most enthused by Cades development over the last two games. If he can play with that consistency the rest of the way weay end up in a very nice bowl or who knows? Go Tigers!
