IPTAY PARKING switch and bate

When IPTAY started soliciting for 2025 donations the Parking Tier posted publication Titled 2024… Lot 2 was a tier 4 contribution.
We paid our commitment based on this information.
Not until late June was the 2025 Parking Tier posted.. which changed Lot 2 to a tier 3.
Switch and Bate… if not illegal.
I have dated screenshots/ dates if
Anyone is interested.

When I was selecting my parking in April( not sure of the date) they had up to date info on parking levels. Based on that I increased my contribution to be sure to get what I had last year. You do have to pay careful attention, but not bait and switch IMO.

I think the problem is you initially looked at the 2024 publication. You need to review it annually.

What I am trying to say is IPTAY has already rolled their year and the parking information currently visible is not going to be accurate for when we have to select our parking for next season.

Look at the IPTAY emails from April 13 and 15 2025. I am thinking there were some prior to those dates too.

I just looked at the IPTAY emails from mid April. Lot 2 was listed as a tier 3.

On 2/6 email from IPTAY which was around a week before 50% IPTAY deadline, Lot 2 was a tier 3. I am so sorry they you did not get your parking like you wanted.

Parking stinks! 😷
Too many new buildings!
Quit expanding Clemson Campus….
Put a cap on enrollment, and keep the trees and grass on campus. Students live miles away, off campus and catch buses, like urban schools…..

Seems to me like there have often been parking changes long after the date Iptay pledges were due. IPTAY does not know how many pledges will come in at each level. IPTAY often loses parking lot spaces when the University decides it wants or needs to use land differently than it has in the past. In my 50+ years I have been reassigned parking many times, i loved the spot I have had the last decade =, but I lost my space too. For whatever reason, I have never felt like my donation was in any way like buying a parking. I think I get the best available considering how much I gave.
I have been to a lot of away games. Our parking for season ticket holders seems way better than that of most other schools. Sorry you lost a spot you liked and thought you had bought.

More parking garages. Always thought Lot 10 would be the perfect spot for a multilevel garage because its sunk behind Cemetary Hill there. They could do a walk out bridge on the top level that way you could take an elevator up or stairs and avoid walking up that hill.
