I don't have anything against Argentina, and I don't mind helping them. But this 20 billion is just flushing the money down the toilet. It will get funneled to the hedge funds that made investments in Argentina, but it won't help Argentina address anything. Their currency will collapse.

the world is maddening. All the comments about Ukraine being Europe’s problem but stabilizing Argentina is of US national interests seems ridiculous. I am all for stability in South America but Europe is a much bigger deal for US.
