Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

I guess it depends on how much having a high character coach, NFL draft stock, wins, good team leadership, teammates with humility, academics, teammates with enough character not to go to the media with lies about their rival, winning, and championships ect. mean to him. I guess it's all about whether or not he thinks that a team that beat his team 56-7 is that much better than the team he chose if at all. I know some of his teammates don't but I hope that he has more sense than them.

Re: Does Zach Bailey regret his decision

Well I don't know what was told to him during recruitment. He could have been told the stone cold truth about Clemson in that he'd have to earn a start and nothing would be given to him. It probably sounded like an uphill battle with uncertainty.

The USuCk coach probably told him everything he wanted to hear. Immediate start, that he was their savior, blah blah blah, anything and everything to persuade someone to that dump.

I don't know enough to say for sure but hindsight is always 20/20. He knows that the grass is much greener over here than that concrete jungle down there.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Every player who ever played for them

Oct 3, 2017, 9:47 PM

has regretted it by the end of their tenure

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I thought all SCar players regret their decision.

Why would anyone want to be a gamecock? A chicken?

I give it that it’s slightly better than Santa Cruz’ Banana Slugs.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

when a guy chooses them i never worry too much about them

Oct 3, 2017, 10:17 PM

because there's clearly something wrong with him for making a decision like that lol

Re: when a guy chooses them i never worry too much about them

Oct 3, 2017, 10:30 PM

Yep, his girlfriend goes there and his best friend goes there. His best friend was a Clemson baseball commit and decommitted and went to the coots. Both are regretting their decisions. Plus Bailey had a lot of peer pressure and family pressure as all were coot fans. Dumb decisions by both. If Bailey goes pro after this season, he may have played for a team that did not have a winning record or bowl win in his 3 years there. Pitiful.

I heard that the bloods and the crips are steering players their way , those gangs are all over cooterville . don't google Columbia gangs . like all the parents do .

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The guy grew up a Scar fan

Oct 3, 2017, 11:09 PM

I don't think I would be able to turn on Clemson if I was in his position and the roles were reversed. It's a tougher decision when a kid grows up a fan.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He will forever be

Oct 3, 2017, 11:12 PM

a chicken....

Think about that.

Hearn and Crowder have played very well for us, Bailey might not even be a starter here.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Can't read his mind, but I would think that any player

Oct 4, 2017, 11:55 AM

who would choose the coots is not mentally acute enough to regret theat decision.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

deep down he knows...

Oct 4, 2017, 11:57 AM

That we aren't really that much better than them, if at all... ;)
