If we ae going by the movie---yes! If we go by his real life, he may have a problem.

If he didn't star in a movie that's probably why I don't recognize the name.

Not hardly. It was a feel good story and I know it was embellished just like everything out of Hollywood. Why would anyone lash out at a feel good story ?

It's difficult to believe that a man could take such abuse.

GD reminds me of TB who use to shill for Obalamama on the P&R bored. I always suspected TB to be a female. I suspect this one is female too.
Can you imagine being so deprived of attention that you'd go to a rival's website and try to make friends? It's really sad when you look at it that way.
The alternate way to think is that providing the sought attention is satisfying the seeker.
Well, I hope crump buys into that when my guardian rat finally turns me in for being a putz troll.

It's raining and the grass can't be cut, the garden can't be cultivated and I'm so tired of boardem that my right arm feels like it's gonna fall off. Yeah, I even trolled junge a little.
I think I'll checkout College Football Live out and see how good the SEC, USC, UM, VT, Tejus and ND will be this year.
I'll pause it on a TigerPaw and take a shot to post if one shows up but don't hold your breath.

If Rudy goes to heaven, it isn't because he "earned" it.

Ephesians 2:8-9. No one "earns" their way into heaven.

Sorry to offend. I certainly meant not disrespect to The Father or His Word.
I was poking fun at a catholic school and their hollywood memory of Rudy.
Jesus probably doesn't think this is funny either so you two are in good company.

I do what I can to make it known.
it is so liberating knowing my sins (of which I have many, even this morning) were taken by Christ on the cross. And, He has offered a FREE gift of salvation just by believing in Him, not just about Him.
While preparing my lesson for tomorrow, I came across these statements and love them - "Where there is no loss of life, there is no forgiveness. Where there is no forgiveness, there is no freedom. Where there is no freedom, there is no hope."
P.S. I believe Jesus definitely had a sense of humor. Otherwise, we wouldn't have one. And, Jesus could be very biting in His condemnation of the Jewish leaders, some of which involved sarcasm.

My encounter with the first written account of sarcasm

was Old Testament. Moses, I believe, was unsatisfied and showing disapproval toward The Lord God of the care or future of the folks he'd been leading on the 40 year detour across the desert.
God's response was something like, "What, I've lead you by day with a cloud, by night with a pillar of fire, you've eaten the sweetbread which falls daily from the sky and drank cool clean water spewn from rocks every time you wave your staff over one. You've walked all these years yet the shoes have not worn from your feet nor the clothes worn from your back. Am I not still your God?"
I was giving thanks for having the medication which control my blood pressure and cholesterol this morning. It had been available to me for the last six months at a discount price. I had only discovered it today.
If I'm not mistaken I got some form of "Stop with the 'head up the butt,' thing you do when the going gets a little tough."
I laughed out loud on my way back to the front door of the Riteaid Pharmacy. I'm sure He was laughing for I felt His Joy.
I've heard, "Since when do I have to tell you to do what's right?" That was in response to my asking if He wanted me to adopt a handicap child.
We all judge Him daily. I have reconvened the jury in my heart many times to reconsider who He is and whether or not He is faithful. The verdict is always the same for I have always found Him a faithful God and a loving Father.
I believe that comfort is decades of trying Him again and again and finding the first trial in our hearts returned the same verdict as all the rest. The Scripture refers to it as faith. I declare He is faithful.
