Does anyone here understand the Logan Thomas effect?

He constantly plays awful and people chime in and say he was just underchieving, we can't be the only ones to see that he just doesn't have it can we? What happened during that interview that made Arizona use a draft pick on Logan Thomas. And who the hell is the quarterback the texans took? Out of all the quarterbacks left they choose some no name from pitt? Most drafts have moments that leave you dumbfounded but it's seemed this draft has had many more of those moments.

LT is not worth a crap as a college QB - makes too many mistakes. BUT - he fits the mold of a NFL QB pretty well and has the "POTENTIAL" to become a good QB.
FWIW: Boyd has just as much potential as LT. I just think Boyd has a better chance in Canada. I see Boyd as being similar to Tebow, but not as good - so he won't make it in the NFL. Sorry - but that's just the way I see it. LT has about a 1:100 chance - maybe similar to Boyd. Don't expect to see either on the field very often barring a lot of QB injuries.

before who is a bunch of hooey. LT was drafted before Tajh -- so what? If we are gracious we smile and say so be it. In the long run who will be better? Well that my friends depends on a lot of factors. And time.
Anyway, all these pro-city teams are not my bag of team. Give my Clemson, Athens, Auburn, or any team where passion for big-time collge football runs deep on any day over all this pro-stuff.

them and that includes high draft picks...
Like you said, none of this means Thomas will be a better QB than Boyd, but you still want the country to take notice of his achievements and award him with a high pick...

and is the main reason VT has fallen off the past two years. He is a turnover machine, with bad accuracy and terrible decision making.

He said that (summarizing) he had watched tons of film on Logan Thomas and he saw NOTHING that indicated he could be an NFL quarterback. Meanwhile, Mel just sat there and said nothing.
I dunno, but I'll take Pollian over Mel every day and twice on Sundays.
