This is a simple displaced letter. It's not like he wrote "Deez gys can b in da saem glasses hurr durr." It was a joke, and funny to boot since both admittedly care nothing for academics and that makes me a little sick as a Gamecock fan. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to have them on the field, but the insult to academics at SC is not something I'm happy about.

The main point is MOST of the athletes aren't the smartest kids at the school, whether it is Clemson or South Carolina. They are recruited for the athletic abilities. Key's statement was taken wrong. No matter what school these kids attend, they will receive the best tutoring in an effort to keep them on their respective teams. Don't say that Clemson recruits smarter players than Carolina because they don't, yet all I hear from Clemson fans is that Clemson's admission standards are higher(like the excuse you guys make for Clowney not attending). Show me proof that your admissions requirement would have kept ANY Carolina recruit from attending Clemson.
