drink the pot liquor from the collard pot ? Like put the excess into a glass that is left over when you put the left over collards in the fridge ? I do. My grandmother said it was good for me.

how could it not be good for you ? seems like a lot of water soluble vitamins and other nutrients would be in it. I know i feel better after i drink it

my mom would use the water from the vegetables to make various gravies.she said it had vitamins and nutrients that cooking had drained from the veggies.that alone was enough for me to believe.

nothing but biscuit dough . . . and drop spoonfuls into the saved “pot liquor” and eat it like a soup . . . next to nothing hit the compost pile around our house.
