I know you won't get this logic but.....you are ranked 12. That means nothing but if you believe in the rankings, then there are 11 teams better than Clemson. There are 4 BCS bowl games other than the championship. Take those 2 out and there are 9 teams supposedly better than Clemson. If the BCS took the 8 supposedly best teams, then Clemson would not be playing in a major bowl. It is that simple. The rules state that only 2 teams from each conference can go to a BCS game. That eliminates certain teams and allows other teams to fall into slots. Is Clemson deserving of a BCS game? Yes. So are other teams being left out. It's the nature of the game and rules. Clemson plays in the ACC where there are only a couple good teams. Other than FSU, you dominated your conference. Good luck at the orange bowl.

Greensboro, N.C.—With top-ranked Florida State, the Atlantic Coast Conference champion, leading the way, the ACC will place an NCAA-record 11 teams in bowl games, Commissioner John Swofford announced Sunday.

I get the logic. You play in a conference with two teams that deserve a BCS game and you aren't one of them. Clemson plays in a conference with two teams that belong in a BCS game and Clemson is one of them.

come here and posted that.
At the end of the day, as far as the BCS is concerned, it's function was to identify the top 2 teams so they could play in its contrived "national championship" games, and to ensure that the BCS bowls could only choose its participants from among certain high level candidates (top 14). The caveat for a top 4 ranking being a guaranteed spot also protected mid-major conference schools from having a deserving season but getting left out. The two team per conference max rule is to ensure that league polling bias doesn't factor too heavily, such as Missouri's #8 when they have two losses and didn't actually beat a single team that finished with less than four losses all season. Why are they ranked ahead of OK or OK State? Why is SCar for that matter ranked ahead of Oklahoma? OK actually lost its two games to quality Big 12 opponents while SCar lost to a losing UT.
When you get past the elite level in the polls, it's anybody's guess.
Good luck in the Cap One.

decided the 2 best teams, no more, no less.
i explained what was flawed and yes, i consider your story spilled milk.
as for your well wishes, never asked for them and offering them after that 'logic' seems insincere.
