Do noon games in the Big 12 start at noon?

do they kick off at 11 so that its a noon game for east coast? or would a noon game really be a 1:00 game?

At least that is what they always seem to be when I flip channels during the season. ABC has the 3:30et/2:30ct and then ESPN usually has a late game and sometimes FSN and ABC as well.

Yes, living in OK, I can confirm, Noon games on east coast are at 11 a.m. here.

What I mean is, there are no Noon kickoffs here. If a game at OU or OSU is on ESPN for the "Noon" game, it does start at 11 (there are no Noon kickoffs). Also, 3:30 games on ABC do start at 2:30 here and so on and so forth. No noon kickoffs (unless it's not on TV, and then most teams have them scheduled for around 6 or so).

A&M vs. Baylor game at A&M last year and it started at 11am their time.
Tailgating was really non-existent.
Just goes to prove that XXII won't get you 3pm or night games. That was a pretty big game at the time and it was still at 11am. Our game that day (MD) was at night. Of course it was AT Maryland.

That's a good point, but every conference has some game on at noon. The ACC seems to have more games at noon or 12:30 than most, and Clemson is one of those schools.
Big 12 has agreement with FX/FoxSports for a "noon" game, SEC has their SEC Network game at 12:30, ACC has the ACC Network game, plus usually a ESPN/ESPN2 game. Big 10 the same with Big 10 network/ESPN/ESPN2.
It's just a matter of being a big-time team playing another good/big-time team. Or being named, Texas, OU, FSU, VT, Miami, LSU, Bama, etc.
